Pakistan Railways, one of the country’s oldest and most recognisable institutions, needed a modernised brand identity that would honour its heritage while signalling progress and renewal. The key challenge was to refresh the brand without losing its historical significance, ensuring the new identity resonates with both everyday passengers and future stakeholders as the railway modernises its operations.
Process
Crestify Studio led a comprehensive re-branding initiative, blending heritage elements with contemporary design principles.
Brand Audit: We began by analysing the existing identity, identifying key visual elements that carried cultural and historical value, and pinpointing areas where the brand felt outdated or inconsistent.
Visual Identity Redesign: We refined the logo, colour palette, and typography to create a cleaner, more versatile identity system. The updated look maintained recognisable national elements while adopting a modern, professional aesthetic suitable for digital and print applications.
Systematisation: We developed a cohesive brand system, including usage guidelines, visual applications for signage, uniforms, rolling stock, and digital channels — ensuring consistency across the entire network.
